The School got felicitation for the inquisitive minds for the 2nd consecutive year when three of the students Akash Verma, Gaurav Aggarwal & Prateek Awasthi got Ist Position in Inter School Quiz Competition 2012-13 held at Jain Mrigavati Vidyalya.

Sonam Bajaj of class - XI was adjudged as the "STUDENT OF THE YEAR 2012" by Times of India, NIE and was felicitated with a trophy, cash prize of Rs. 1000/- and a certificate for her outstanding intellect and active participation in co-curricular activities at various levels throughout the year

The Sports champions of Mount Abu Public School Sec-5 Rohini once again proved their exceptional talent when two of its sports stars Iftesam Khan The Tae-kwando champion and Garvit Bajaj, the cricketer emerged out the successful winners in their respective areas of specialization. Iftesam Khan got felicitated with Gold medal in 58th School Games Tae –Kwando Nationals held at Delhi while Garvit Bajaj got Ist Position in U-14 School National Cricket Championship held at Delhi.

Selected in U-19 School National C.K. Naidu Championship

Saksham Gupta and Vikas Jha got selected in U-19 School National
C. K. Naidu Championship held at Mumbai. They qualified for the finals with Chandigarh and begged 3rd Position for the school beating all other teams. The school fraternity applauds their achievements.

Selected U-16 School National Cricket Championship

Jatin Shokeen once again left everyone spell bound with his exemplary performance at U-16 School National Cricket Championship where he played finals against punjab at Chandigarh and got Ist Position for his team defeating the opponent team. His achievments are always worth appreciating by Mapians.

French Olympiad

The thirst for learning foreign language has increased in the present world. Even formal training of any foreign language serves as a benefit to man in establishing his successful career. Thus keeping this aim at the prime importance, the school conducted French Olympiad for the students of classes in collaboration with ‘Education and Beyond' associated with French Embassy, wherein about 77 students participated with great zeal and 21 students have been selected for National Level.

Masters hit a blaster

The school feels proud to proclaim the prestigious position in the G.K competition organized by SBIT at Hansraj Model school Punjabi Bagh wherein our scholars, Prateek Awasthi, Akash Verma and Pulkit Tanwar won the second position an got a cash prize of 10000/- .The school applauds for their wonderful achievement amidst 50 schools from all over Delhi

Selected in the U-19 Himachal Pradesh State Team and Himachal Pradesh Ranji Trophy

Ankush Bains, the Cricket star of the school, set a record with his wonderful skills of playing Cricket when he got selected in the U-19 Himachal Pradesh State Team which he played about 4 league Match and defeating all his teams, finally swayed into the quarter finals.

The list of his achievements never ends. He further got his selection for the team of Himachal Pradesh Ranji Trophy which will start from 13th Feb 2013.

Mount Abu Shines in State Level Painting Competition

A state Level Painting Competition organized by Power Finanace Corporation Ltd. of India was held at CSMRS Auditorium, Hauz Khas on the theme of Water and Energy Conservation. Five students from the school participated for the same and produced the remarkable piece of art in the form of posters where three of them by Tarak shukla, Uttkarsh Tripathi and Sarvesh Arora were based on the water conservation and two on energy conservation byChirag Sethi and Anirudh Dabas. The preliminary round for the same was held first at the school where all students of classes IV-VI participated and three best entries were selected for state level participation. In all about four lakh students from all over Delhi participated and 50 best paintings were selected by the judges. In the inventory of selected students excelled the name of Mount Abu public School with all its five entries being selected. All the selected participants were felicitated with the cash prize of Rs. 1000/- for their selection and two of our entries by Tarak Shukla and Sarvesh Arora also got the consolation prize that again amounted to Rs. 1000/-. The school fraternity applauds and congratulates all the participants for their creditable triumph.

School cheers for Manan Singhal for being selected in JENESYS 2012

Manan Singhal of class X visited Japan under the programme of Jenesys in the Nov Batch 2012, He was one of those children who got selected for the programme on the basis of academics and performance in co-curricular activities .The students had a wonderful time exchanging the school curriculum with each other and knowing more about the culture and tradition of the country. They were taken for the visit to the important tourist place whereby they could learn the beautiful culmination of language and culture. The visit to the land of rising sun was indeed a splendid one and proved out to be the best way to enhance ones knowledge about the world outside

Proud Winners of City Level Science Drama Contest

It is a proud moment for the school to be adjudged as a WINNER at City Level Science Drama Contest 2012-13 organized by National Science Center, Delhi. 70 schools from across the city participated; our school performance got FIRST POSITION. Rohit Chander, one of the participants was declared as Best Actor and Ms. Anjali Sharma, Teacher In charge as the Best Director for the event. The students are now qualified to participate at State Level Science Drama 2012-13. They’ll be representing the North Zone.

This programme is organized every year to encourage the students, teachers and other science communicators to explore and experiment with the dramatic form as a means of communication. Theatre or drama is an age-old cultural form of our society, which has been used through the ages for entertainment, recreation and also as a medium of social interaction.

CBSE REGIONAL LEVEL SCIENCE EXHIBITION 2012

Osheen Martolia and Aishwarya Dimri of class XII under the guidance of Mrs. Chanchal participated in CBSE REGIONAL LEVEL SCIENCE EXHIBITION held at Mount Abu Public School,Sec-5, Rohini on 17th August and 18th August 2012 and brought laurels to the school with their model on ‘Dental Pulp Stem cells – A Gift of Smile” being selected for NATIONAL LEVEL SCIENCE EXHIBITION.

“Painting is the best way to express what goes in one's mind”

The School fraternity feels highly honoured to proclaim of best of the artistic skills with exemplary shades & tones among the children. Somya Kataria, Rishabh Shrivastav and Aniket Mitra have been awarded for the III, II & III position respectively for their wonderful achievements in the Drawing Competition held on the occasion of Earth Day celebration, organized by Ministry of Earth Sciences , Govt. of India .

GREEN SCHOOL AWARD

MAPS honored with the GREEN SCHOOL AWARD by C.M. Mrs. Shiela Dixit for being the best 4th green School from all over the nation participated in the race, organized by GOBAR TIMES and the School was felicitated with the appreciation to work for the betterment of environment to make this place the best place to live in.
Brother- Sister duo Faiz and Iftesam khan participated in various levels of Teak-won-do championship and bagged number of Gold and Silver medals on their name. Ifetsam Khan participated in National Taekwondo Championship held at Jammu & Kashmir on 4 th and 5 th December, where she added the feathers in the school cap with 2 gold,1 silver and 1 bronze medal and was titled the ‘Taekwondo Star of the Championship'. She participated in 4th South - west (kyorugi) District Taekwondo Championship 2011 and won Gold Medal, in 4th South - west (Poomsae) District Taekwondo Championship 2011 won 2 Gold and 1 Silver Medal, in 4th North - east (kyorugi) District Taekwondo Championship 2011 won Gold Medal and in 28th Delhi State Poomsae & Kyorugi Championship she won 1 Gold, 1 Siver and 1 Bronze Medal.
Ankush Bains, a phenomenal cricketer is recognized for his invincible ccomplishment in the under-14 School National Games and State Championship in the year 2009 and 2010 where he represented school and Himachal Pradesh State. Further, he went for International Championship 2010 held at Pakistan and School Indian Games under -15 against Australia.
Table Tennis sensation Abhishek Jaggi has been setting new milestones every time he plays. Recently he won the silver medal in National level Table Tennis Championship held at Indore besides his first position in Under 16 CBSE Cluster Table Tennis Championship, Silver medal with a cash prize worth Rs. 5,000/ in District and State Level Table Tennis Tournament and many Gold medals at school level tournaments.
